Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
- Selected applicants for the post at Vincintoire Limited shall be highly responsible in providing quantity surveying support and project management assistance for medical gas projects within a health solutions company.
- Applicant shall also work closely with the project team to ensure accurate cost estimation, financial control, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Applicants shall be in charge of the Cost Estimation and Tendering by considering materials, assisting in the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for medical gas projects, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
- Shall as well endeavour to contribute to the tendering process by analyzing project requirements, reviewing specifications, and supporting the preparation of tender documents.
- Role Holder shall also carry out Quantity Measurement and Valuation to help takeoff and measure quantities from drawings, specifications, and site visits to establish accurate quantities for pricing and valuation purposes.
- And to render quality assistance in the preparation of bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and cost plans.
- Applicants should be able to handle contract administration by rendering maximum assistance in the administration of contracts, including preparing contract documents, monitoring contract compliance, and managing variations and claims.
- And shall also support the preparation of payment applications, valuations, and final accounts.
Cost Control and Reporting
- Role holder is to tender assist in monitoring project costs and expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary limits.
- He shall endeavour to provide regular reports on project financial performance, highlighting any cost overrun or potential risks.
Documentation and Record Keeping
- Role Holder shall ensure to maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contract files, correspondence, and project-related records.
- Must also see to assist in maintaining a comprehensive project cost database for future reference and benchmarking purposes.
Stakeholder Coordination
- He/she shall collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- He is also expected to assist in managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, including procurement activities and subcontractor payments.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Applicants for these role is expected to always adhere to health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the project team
Qualifications and Skills
- Applicants is required to possess Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or any related field from a recognised institution
- He/she shall have the required knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Role Holder shall possess strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and must have a quality proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications and Excel
- Applicant should possess an excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
- Applicants must have good ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines and must also be well familiarized with medical gas systems and related regulations.

Job Description
- Role holder shall solely be responsible for overseeing the daily activities including on-site, managing subcontractor’s, and ensuring the successful execution of medical gas projects.
- Moreso, for the job role at Vincintoire Limited shall have strong understanding of medical gas systems, must have excellent project coordination skills,, and the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Applicant must possess sound project Planning and Coordination to effectively collaborate with the project manager to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for medical gas projects, he shall also ensure appropriate coordination of project activities, including site surveys, equipment installations, and system testing, as well as ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
Subcontractor Management
- The project manager shall help to manage and coordinate subcontractors involvement in the medical gas projects, including equipment suppliers, installation teams, and other trades.
Site Management
- Role holder must ensure to oversee all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. Also, he shall endeavour to coordinate deliveries, equipment logistics, and site access for subcontractors and project team members.
Communication and Collaboration
- Must be willing to serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, subcontractors, and project team members regarding project progress, issues, and updates. He shall also help during documentation and Reporting to help maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related correspondence
- In addition, role holders should help during the preparation of regular progress reports, including project milestones, budget status, and any deviations from the original plan.
- Applicants must have quality assurance and compliance to always ensure that all medical gas installations and systems meet the required codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering science, construction management, or any related field of study and from a recognised institution
- Applicants at the ongoing medical gas project at Vincintoire Limited must have relevant and required knowledge of all needed codes and standards such as NFPA 99, HTM 02-01, and ASSE 6000 and shall be able to carryout work perfectly well
