Job Profile
The State Programme Manager absorbed after recruitment exercise will have to see to the overall responsibility of project activities, including management of project staff and liaison with stakeholders at the state level.
Role Holder will also be charged with the responsibility for coordinating the provision of all communication, community mobilisation and demand creation roles as well as to ensure achievement of programme deliverables.
Job Role
The State Programme Manager shall have to handle all project coordination and implementation processes
The Role Holder shall have to lead and manage processes of a strategic advocacy plans by the organisation
Shall also handle all strategic Technical Assistance to government agencies for Health Systems Strengthening
Qualifications / Experience
The State Programme Manager applicants must possess a First Degree in Sciences, Arts, or related field of study. Having a Master’s Degree in Public Health, policy or related fields will be essential to this position (shall be seen as an added advantage)
Role Holder must possess a minimum of five (5) years post-NYSC working experience in health and family planning programmes in a reputable organization.
Applicants must have a sound technical knowledge and understanding of Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health policies and programming in Nigeria and be comfortable with working with a range of stakeholders.
The State Programme Manager must be good in data management and reporting skills.
Also S/He must have a good and outstanding creativity in writing skills to write and develop success stories and human- interest stories.
