Haaland to Led Man City to Victory against Sevilla today

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City coach has yesterday stated that the team cannot rely only on Erling Haaland to single-evenhandedly enable them achieve compete victory in the Champions League this season due to his unforgettable start to life in England.

Recall, that the Norway striker Haaland has scored 10 goals in his first premier league games since his $58 million move from Broussia Dortmund this summer

Guardiola while addressing the public said that all the players were brought into the club to help make the club better in the opening group game against Sevilla which is to hold on Tuesday been today.

Manchester City was able to reach the semi-finals of last season competition before a surprised stunt from Real Madrid which cost them a short at winning their first European title

Therefore, relying on Haaland’s shoulders alone might make them not to win the Champions League Competition this season

More so, capturing Haaland was definitely the headline and real deal in which Guardiola hopes deeply can inspire Manchester City into winning the trophy in Istanbul come next June

Guardiola went on to say that with the achievement of the club in buying, England midfielder Kalvin Philips, Defenders; Manuel Akanji and Sergio Gomez as well as Argentine striker Juian Alvarez will help strengthen the Manchester city’s squad and hopefully the club will record a victory

He also posited that the players which has been brought newly to the club has settled well and are ready to display today. According to him, Haaland came to man city because he was convinced that the club has no better strikers

Guardiola, said that he completely agree and understand why the fans talk about Haaland as most important while there are other six new players been signed,  but is a fact to know that the club will not win the competition because of Haaland’s unquestionable talent but his help to solve the problems and the collaborative efforts of other players will help the club to win if they play well

Manchester City has injured players ranging from Kyler Walker (who limped off in the just finished match with Aston villa on Saturday where they scored 1-1). Also John Stones sustained a minor knock but they shall hopefully be fit to play against Dortmund on Saturday before the international break, Guardiola said.
