Robinson breaks St Mirren silence on Boyd-Munce transfer bid

According to Stephen Robinson, St Mirren has made a proposal for Caolan Boyd-Munce.

 

Leyton Orient is interested in acquiring the Northern Ireland international, and on Tuesday, a proposal allegedly for around £175k was submitted.

 

Robinson has pledged, nevertheless, that St. Mirren would not undercut themselves and will maintain their asking price.

 

Additionally, St. Mirren hopes to extend Boyd-Munce’s contract because a new offer is currently being considered.

 

Robinson responded, “We have,” when asked if a transfer offer had been turned down. “We have a player’s valuation; it was undoubtedly not the amount of money mentioned in some articles.

 

“We will no longer sell players for low prices since we have a valuation on them; we don’t need to do that.

 

“We are speaking to Caolan about a new contract. Players always have a choice, they’ll choose to stay or see their contract out which Keanu [Baccus] and Ryan [Strain] have done.

“We are Caolan very, very highly and we won’t sell anybody undervalue. Any bids that are not in the areas we desire will not be considered.”

“St. Mirren offers players a platform. With the help of our coaching staff and his talent and application, Caolan has undoubtedly advanced.

“Although our club does trade players, the days of players leaving for £50,000 are over. Since then, we’ve moved on and are committed to creating a football team and luring additional players who share his qualities.
