Riverside College Teaching Job Vacancies: Key Responsibilities
Role holders must have an understanding of the curriculum and developing schedules, lesson plans, and teaching methods that will help students cover the required content.
Role holder should be able to prepare and deliver lessons that are stimulating and clear.
Role holder applying for this teaching vacancies in 2022 should be able to set up tests, assignments, and practicals, and grading students fairly.
Must always ensure an appropriate resources and consultation times are available to students.
Should at all times mentor and provide support to students.
Must always attend staff and parent meetings, conferences, workshops, and other continuing education programs.
Should be ready to inform and prepare students for science fairs, competitions and expos.
Must be able to handle various administrative functions, which include updating student records and keeping track of lab supplies, tools, and equipment.
Must ensure safe, healthy classroom environment where learning can take place
Must effectively manage the behavior of students
Must engage in curriculum development and planning activities, individually and as a team
Must oversee and assign out-of-classroom activities during the school day, as needed.
Must always perform other duties as may be assigned by the principal or vice Principal
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Ed, B.Sc or HND in a related field of study. Having M.Sc / MBA will be an added advantage.
Candidates applying for this teaching jobs in nigeria must possess a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in the subject area. Relevant certification may be required as an added advantage.
Must have the knowledge of teaching styles is recommended.
Must have excellent and competent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Must have Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Role holder must be able to inspire and motivate students.
Must have strong multitasking skills.
