Marcus Rashford’s departure has already determined Manchester United’s next No. 10.

As teams vie for Marcus Rashford’s services during the January transfer window, Manchester United is getting ready for life without the winger.

Marcus Rashford’s time at Manchester United is coming to an end, even the most ardent fan will realize this.

The winger has had a difficult season, and it seems impossible to turn things around after Ruben Amorim benched him for the match against Manchester City and he later stated that he wanted a fresh challenge. His departure, when it happens, will have a big impact on the club’s history.

Considering some of Rashford’s seasons, you can’t help but wonder what may have been. However, with Financial Fair Play (FFP) dangers looming large, his lack of consistency eventually makes him an excellent player for United to sell.

There would also be a big hole in the United team when he leaves, especially when it comes to shirt numbers. The next player to assume the role has a legacy to live up to, as club greats Wayne Rooney, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and David Beckham have all worn Rashford’s No. 10.

Amad is the only member of the United team who is currently capable of accepting that challenge. He unquestionably demonstrated on Thursday night that he is the type of player who can win games by himself.
