Available Positions: Facilities Management Supervisor

Specification for the job:

  • Work type: Full Time
  • Required Qualifications: B.SC/BA/HND/
  • Location: Abuja | Nigeria.

Employee’s Work Function: 

  • Ability to develop and carry out periodic facility inspections to develop building maintenance activities -preventive and corrective facilities maintenance schedule.
  • Ability to plan and manage all central services – reception, security, cleaning, waste disposal, water treatment, energy consumption and parking to ensure customers’ satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage and review Service Contracts to ensure optimum service delivery.
  • Must be able to respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent facilities maintenance issues as they arise.
  • Ability to prepare maintenance report for the various facilities and office locations; Prepare weekly report on facilities maintenance.
  • Must be able to carry out facility audits on buildings and report on observations and defeats on buildings.
  • Ability to plan best allocation/utilization of space for both current and future office
  • Ability to initiate interventions to solve problems in facilities.
  • Ability to prepare weekly maintenance report.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of equipment functioning status and other systems in building.
  • Ability to ensure compliance to all maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate the work of Building Services Technicians/Contractors to ensure proper care of Air Conditioners, Furniture, Plumbing and Lighting Systems.
  • Ability to coordinate housekeeping and grounds keeping activities to ensure the environment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Ability to define scope of work, provide drawings and prepare cost estimates for building maintenance works, refurbishment and renovations.
  • Must be responsible for the allocation and management of facility space for optimum efficiency.

Applicants must Possess the following requirements:

    • B.SC in Civil / Electrical Engineering, Quantity Survey OR Architecture.
    •  Post-NYSC experience in facilities management with 4-5 years.

Extra Requirements for the job

  • Applicant must reside In Abuja.l, Nigeria
  • Added Knowledge on: Building services installation, National Building codes and Project management.
  • Also, must be a member of the Relevant Professional body.
