Tuttomercatoweb (TMW) reports that Douglas Luiz, a midfielder for Juventus, is open to joining Manchester United during the winter transfer window.
The Brazil international has played fewer than 500 minutes this season despite spending £42 million to join the Bianconeri from Aston Villa last summer.
His agent Gianmaria Montesano is probably going to meet him in Turin shortly as a result of the rumors that have been circulating about his future.
Luiz will only leave the Bianconeri for a top Premier League team like Manchester City or United, according to TMW.
The idea of playing for Nottingham Forest or Fulham this winter hasn’t convinced him.
Luiz’s transfer to United might be contingent upon Casemiro’s departure.
The 26-year-old’s 2023–24 season with Villa was outstanding. In 53 games across all competitions, he recorded 10 goals and 10 assists.
Luiz made an impression for the Midlands team in both the defensive and central midfield positions. He would be a fantastic addition to United’s roster.

But until the team is able to let go of Casemiro within the current transfer window, we don’t see a move taking place.
Under manager Ruben Amorim, Casemiro has obviously lost favor, as seen by the fact that he was not deployed as a replacement against Arsenal on Sunday.
The fact that Amorim chose to play Toby Collyer over Casemiro makes it obvious that the Brazilian’s departure from the team is imminent.
