United Airlines reacts to the legend of the Broncos incident

The Hall of Famer Terrell Davis of the Denver Broncos was handcuffed and taken off an aircraft on Saturday. Following the event, United Airlines apologised to Davis in a statement.

During Saturday’s flight, the 51-year-old former running back said he tapped a flight attendant’s arm to draw his attention; the worker then accused Davis of striking him. Six police officers boarded the aircraft after it landed, detained Davis, and removed him from the journey.

On Monday, the MVP of 1998 shared on Instagram that he was travelling with his wife and three kids when his son requested ice from a flight attendant. Davis claims that after the attendant remained silent, he gave a small tap on his arm and yelled, “Don’t hit me.”

In addition to calling the event “humiliating, disturbing, and traumatising,” the two-time Super Bowl champion and MVP of Super Bowl XXXII said that law enforcement apologised and released him as soon as they understood what had transpired. Davis promised to put his solicitors in contact with the airline.
