Charles Barkley, a former NBA Hall of Famer and current TNT analyst, recently criticized Booker and explained why the Suns are interested in Butler. “I said to you guys last year, maybe Devin could be that guy,” Barkley stated. “Devin is an incredible athlete. However, I also believe that he is an overly kind man. The other guys are not held responsible by him. That, in my opinion, is the reason they wish to get Jimmy Butler. Barkley did not mince words when praising Booker’s leadership abilities. Butler, who has been a strong leader on every team he has played for, is wanted by the Suns because of the absence of leadership in the locker room, he added.
