Ruben Amorim described Sunday’s setback for Manchester United as “really disppointing” once again.
Jean-Philippe Mateta scored two goals to help the Red Devils lose 2-0 at Old Trafford to Crystal Palace. Amorim’s team is presently in 13th place as Palace overtook United in the standings as a result of the outcome.
Amorim encouraged his team to focus on the positive aspects of the game and go on in an effort to salvage a “hard” season, despite the disappointing outcome.
The United boss told BBC Match of the Day, “I thought the team did some things well during the game.” “It’s incredibly frustrating that we lost two goals today that we could have prevented.
“We learn from the performance, but not the outcome. The guys are doing various ways to get better because it’s a difficult season right now. We must proceed.
“We had more possession, more connections, we created chances but we couldn’t score and that was the difference today.”
