Now, Crystal Palace has the opportunity to sign a “magical” £21 million Zaha substitute.

Crystal Palace transfer news As the January transfer window continues, it has now reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign an alternative option to Wilfried Zaha in a deal worth up to £21 million this month. Zaha has been mentioned in the transfer window for the second time in his mixed career, but FIFA regulations state that players can only play official games for two clubs in the same season. Zaha has, of course, already played for both Galatasaray and on loan at Lyon in the current campaign.

Almiron’s departure from St. James’ Park appears likely, as demonstrated by the Premier League, and Crystal Palace may yet try to take advantage of the rumored offer made to them.

But, with teams like Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City also receiving the same offer from Newcastle, the Eagles will need to decide quickly. This may make for an intriguing matchup this month.

Crystal Palace might bring “magical” Almiron back to life.
Almiron startled the Premier League and disproved Jack Grealish just two seasons ago by completing an outstanding run of goals and bringing some much-needed goal involvements to his game. Almiron contributed to 15 goals in all competitions that season, but he hasn’t been able to pick it up subsequently.

Nevertheless, considering that the winger will become a free agent in 2026, it is unclear if Palace will be prepared to match Newcastle’s high asking price of £21 million for him this month.

Palace could definitely use some more experience as the Premier League enters the second half of the season, but spending £21 million on a player who hasn’t scored a goal this season might not be the solution to their current issues under Oliver Glasner. Palace is still only six points clear of the relegation zone.
