Nottingham Forest ‘eyeing’ £25m-rated striker as 11 Premier League clubs in transfer chase. Find out

Nottingham Forest are said to be keeping tabs on goalscoring Spartak Moscow sensation Manfred Ugalde ahead of the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old striker’s red-hot form this season has seen him attract plenty of admirers. The Reds are said to be among them, but they are far from the only ones as there is no shortage of interest in the front man.

Bolstering Nuno Espirito Santo’s options at the top end of the pitch is expected to be on the agenda for Forest next month. They tried to sign a forward in the summer but didn’t manage to get a deal over the line.

According to TBR Football, Ugalde is on the club’s radar as they target attacking reinforcements in January. Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, West Ham United, Newcastle United, Brentford and Brighton and Hove Albion, along with other European teams, are all said to be eyeing up the 22-year-old.

He is said to have a £25 million release clause in his contact – something his representatives have reportedly made his suitors aware of. The Costa Rica international only signed for Spartak in January of this year from FC Twente but could soon be on the move again.
