Newcastle united transfer rumors as the Magpies hope to bolster their roster in the January transfer window.
According to reports, Newcastle United is eager to add a right-sided forward to their roster during the January transfer window. However, Manchester United, a rival in the Premier League, will compete with them for the same target.
The Magpies reportedly made a last-minute, ultimately unsuccessful attempt to recruit Nottingham Forest player Anthony Elanga just hours before the deadline, after targeting several right wingers during the summer transfer window. According to reports, a number of additional targets have been evaluated recently, and players like Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford, Johan Bakayoko of PSV Eindhoven, and Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth have all been connected to moves.
Eddie Howe may currently use Paraguay international Miguel Almiron and in-form winger Jacob Murphy on the right side of his front three, though there has been continuous conjecture that the latter may be permitted to depart the team this month. Clubs in Argentina, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia are reportedly interested in the former Atlanta United player; nevertheless, there have been rumors that MLS team Charlotte FC is “hopeful” of landing Almiron in the near future.
Newcastle is one of two teams that are expected to try to recruit Paris Saint-Germain winger Kang-in Lee “over the next few days” now that the January transfer market is open. The 35-time maximum.
