Richardson clearly has talent on the field. In his second season, he has played less than half a season’s worth of games so far. I believe he understands the game well and remains calm under pressure, though he does struggle with accuracy and field awareness at times. He often overthrows passes or misses his receivers. However, when he does connect, he can throw some beautiful passes. That’s why I haven’t lost faith in him and won’t for a while—there’s still not enough evidence to determine his future. I think the potential reward outweighs the risk, and he could be a significant asset for this franchise.
After being drafted two years ago and playing only a few games, Anthony Richardson needs time and patience from fans. If we aim for mediocrity, we might as well go with Joe Flacco, but history shows us that relying on older quarterbacks doesn’t take us far. If we want a chance at success, we need to back Richardson. He has the best potential on this roster to lead the team there. If the coaches can refine his fundamentals, we should see significant improvement. He still has plenty of opportunities to excel.
