Injuries plague Brentford before their match against Arsenal.

With two more players now doubtful for Wednesday’s encounter against Arsenal, Brentford is dealing with a bit of an injury dilemma.

The encounter between Arsenal’s next two opponents didn’t help Brentford’s injury problem, which was already very terrible going into Friday’s match against Brighton.

In the first half, goalie Mark Flekken was substituted due to a groin injury, and later in the game, defender Ben Mee was also substituted. Both would have to be evaluated, Thomas Frank later acknowledged.

We don’t really have any updates on Flekken or Mee,” Frank stated. “When we actually evaluate them tomorrow, we’ll know more. I hope the wounds aren’t too severe.

Josh Dasilva, Ethan Pinnock, Kristoffer Ajer, Aaron Hickey, Rico Henry, Igor Thiago, and Gustavo Nunes are all anticipated to miss Wednesday’s match against Arsenal in addition to those two possible absences.

Frank acknowledged before the Brighton match that Sepp van den Berg is also doubtful, saying, “It’s going to be too short a turnaround for Brighton. Let’s watch Arsenal.

Mathias Jensen, a midfielder, may also return against the Gunners, according to Frank’s identical update.

There can be no excuses for Mikel Arteta’s team on Wednesday because Brentford will still have a far longer injury list than Arsenal’s even if Flekken, Mee, van den Berg, and Jensen all pass fitness tests.
