An “honest” Speaking out about leaving Everton for Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti

During Farhad Moshiri’s tenure as Everton’s owner, the club has seen several managers come and leave.

When the keys were turned over to The Friedkin Group on Thursday, Everton’s history began anew.

Under the American billionaire, Sean Dyche is still the manager who will lead the team to a bright future, but there are rumors that he may lose his job.

Dyche stated that the Friedkins are behind him and that there are no indications that anything would change after a meeting with the new ownership group.

However, when Dyche’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, the new owners might be thinking about hiring a well-known manager.

Carlo Ancelotti discusses Real Madrid’s acquisition of Everton.

Jose Mourinho is expected to be hired by Everton to lead the new project that his former employers, the Friedkins, are offering.

With Carlo Ancelotti having managed the Blues before, he wouldn’t be the first well-known manager to take over the dugout at Goodison Park.

After leaving Merseyside for Real Madrid in 2021, the Italian has subsequently discussed the circumstances behind his departure.

He told Spanish publication El Pais, “I want to be honest: winning at Madrid is easier.”

“I never thought I would be able to come back, and I didn’t anticipate this. He applied to be a coach after Zinedine Zidane left, so I called the club to check if there were any players (to sign) and threw it there, and they fell for it.

Today, Saturday, December 21, marks five years since Ancelotti was hired as Everton’s manager.

Prior to Real Madrid’s Champions League loss against Liverpool last month, Ancelotti had praised Everton.
