Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Manchester United is getting ready to finalize Amad Diallo’s new contract at Old Trafford. The former Atalanta forward is expected to sign a new, long-term contract.
Since Dutch manager Erik ten Hag was replaced by Ruben Amorim, Amad has rapidly established himself as a vital member of the Red Devils and enjoyed a significant rise in playing time. The youthful forward, who can play a variety of roles in Amorim’s system, is now undoubtedly one of the first names on the team sheet.
United will be trying to sign Amad to a new, long-term contract in order to ward off any possible bidders. At one point, his future seemed uncertain.
Reliable writer Romano claims that United is now finalizing Amad’s new deal, which will include a pay raise for the former Atalanta player. The Red Devils won’t have to use his one-year option until 2026 because they are now “prepared to seal” the new agreement.
“Manchester United is ready to finalize Amad Diallo’s new deal; all the necessary elements are being worked out. new long-term agreement, better pay, and no need to exercise a one-year option until 2026 because the contract will be entirely new as scheduled months in advance.”
