In response to Ruben Amorim’s harsh decision, Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr to recruit Manchester United player Casemiro.
The Red Devils would be open to selling a number of players, including the Brazilian midfielder. They are eager to remove his enormous salary from Old Trafford’s balance sheet.
Numerous teams have shown interest in the former Real Madrid player, with Al-Nassr leading among them, and Saudi Arabia has frequently been mentioned as a potential destination.
He would be reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo, a former colleague who abruptly left Old Trafford in 2022, if he were to move. Additionally, the Portuguese veteran seems to be exerting every effort to close a deal.
Ronaldo is said to have personally pleaded with club executives to get Casemiro to sign. The great majority of the underperforming Red Devils’ roster is available at the appropriate price, and United manager Ruben Amorim has already sanctioned a sale.
Since joining from Real Madrid, 32-year-old Casemiro has made 105 appearances for the team. His rich Old Trafford deal is up in 18 months.
His performances this season have drawn criticism, with some criticizing his lack of pace. Amorim says he understands this. “I can understand the criticism and if you compare the pace of the midfielders from Newcastle and our pace, I understand that,” he stated following the team’s recent loss to Newcastle.
“We attempt to manage.”

“I can tolerate all of the criticism directed at my team because I believe it to be fair. I can understand and live with that when it’s fair.
Even if Al-Nassr is able to sign Casemiro, it may not be long before he and Ronaldo reunite. According to Marca, he has six months left on his Saudi Arabian contract and is weighing his options, with a move to Major League Soccer being a possibility.
Despite speculation about his future, Ronaldo has maintained his support for the Saudi Pro League, saying it is superior to Ligue 1. “The Saudi Pro League is superior to Ligue 1,” he declared.
