Alexander Isak reveals the Newcastle vs. Manchester United gameplan, suggesting that four players may be targeted.

Manchester United’s top priority in the Premier League is to win when they host Newcastle at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Alexander Isak, a striker for Newcastle, has attributed his team’s recent improvement in performance ahead of Monday night’s trip to Manchester United to their high-intensity, out-of-possession work rate.

Following a 4-2 loss to Brentford at the start of December, the Magpies have pulled off an incredible comeback, winning four straight games across all competitions. In that time, Newcastle have scored 14 goals and are arguably one of the worst opponents for United to face at present

The Swede remarked, “I think it is important that we play with the same intensity away from home as we do at St James’ Park,” in an interview with Chronicle Live after United’s 3-0 victory against Aston Villa on Boxing Day. This may be awful news for four United players.

“We are winning the ball a lot high up the pitch and this generates a lot of chances for me. We are creating a lot of chances and those are the type of games you love as a striker.” It helped us get off to a stellar start at Ipswich recently, and we maintained that level throughout the game.

It appears that the Newcastle press will target Andre Onana and his three center-backs starting on Monday, which might be bad news for Ruben Amorim’s team. Teams that prefer to win the ball back high in the opposing team’s half have not been handled well by United, and Amorim will be hoping to devise a strategy that outwits the opposition’s press.
