Following the Aldershot demonstration, seven are accused of violent conduct.

Seven persons in all have been charged with causing disturbances during the demonstration.

Following a demonstration outside an Aldershot hotel that houses asylum seekers, two additional men have been charged with violent conduct.

On August 17th, over 200 people congregated outside the Potters International Hotel, resulting in an injury to a police officer.

While the majority of attendees “gathered in a peaceful manner,” some disturbance was reported, but police were able to rapidly separate the assembly, according to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.

The two males have been granted conditional bail, along with five other individuals who were accused with the same conduct on Friday. On Tuesday, all seven are scheduled to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court.
