Following a two-vehicle incident in Wereham, a woman in her 30s was sent to the hospital with critical injuries.

Following the collision on Tuesday at 5:20 p.m. on the B1160 between Southery and Wereham at the intersection of Broad Drove, police are requesting witnesses.

Officers said that a woman in her 30s who was riding in the red Toyota Aygo suffered significant injuries after it crashed with a silver Isuzu D-Max carrying a trailer.

The woman was brought to the hospital after police and an ambulance arrived at the site.

Anybody who may have seen the collision or who may have any pertinent dashcam footage is welcome to talk with the officers.

They would especially like to talk to anyone who may have seen how either car was driven before the crash.
