FC makes three changes to thHulle Derby team while waiting on late calls.

Having placed Ligi Sao in Simon Grix’s 21-man squad for the 246th meeting with Hull KR, Hull FC will give the attacker every opportunity to play in Saturday’s Hull derby.

Danny Houghton, the club captain, is not included, though, as he sustained a calf injury last week against Salford Red Devils. Houghton, Ben Reynolds, and Zach Jebson, who both left the team on Monday, are the other two additions to the roster.

Three children are on recall: Harvey Barron, Davy Litten, and Jack Charles. Charles, who sustained an unidentified injury while playing for the academy last week, will have a realistic chance to make an appearance. This week, he has improved in his workouts, and the team is optimistic about a first time return

Carlos Tuimavave, who has been playing well since coming back from a hamstring injury, will look to carry on. Alongside him on the roster are veteran players Brad Fash, Herman Ese’ese, Liam Sutcliffe, and Jordan Lane, the only player to have ever played for the team this season.

Numerous young players have also been picked; Will Kirby, who made his first-team debut last week, is hoping to hang onto his spot. Will Gardiner, Logan Moy, Matty Laidlaw, and Lewis Martin are among those who join him; Denive Balmforth is hoping to maintain his impressive form.
