Jayson Tatum will play in the NBA All-Star Game for the sixth straight season.
The Boston Celtics superstar was announced Thursday as one of five Eastern Conference starters, with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell, and Karl-Anthony Towns.
The West’s starting lineup includes LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, Stephen Curry, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. All-Star starters were chosen through a combination of fan (50%), player (25%), and media (25%) votes.
Tatum is leading the defending champion Celtics in scoring, rebounding, and assists this season. His 27.4 points per game ranks fifth in the NBA entering Thursday’s games. This is Tatum’s sixth career All-Star selection, and he has been named an All-Star starter for the third consecutive year. He also began the 2021,
