Freya Godfrey, a 19-year-old forward, has signed a professional contract with the London City Lionesses in June 2023, and she will continue to develop at the Barclays Women’s Championship club after joining our youth academy at the age of 12 in 2018 and working her way up through the age groups before making her first-team debut as a substitute away at Brighton & Hove Albion on May 10, 2023. Freya has made three appearances for our first team overall, including a UEFA Women’s Champions League debut away at Valerenga on December 12, 2024.
