PalaceThe Marc Guehi transfer announcement will excite Crystal Palace supporters.

  • After defeating Stockport County 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Sunday, Crystal Palace advanced to the FA Cup’s next round.

Oliver Glasner stPalaceTheated during the game that despite Palace negotiations, he doesn’t want Palace to lose any of his team members because the Eagles dont currently have many outfield players.

Marc Guehi is one of the players being linked to a move away from Palace.

Chelsea is pursuing the 24-year-old center-back in an attempt to re-sign their former player.

Last summer, Palace valued him at almost £70 million, but in January, the price will drop. Guehi’s current contract is only 18 months old, and the Eagles are anticipated to seek a £50 million compensation.

The news will excite Crystal Palace fans. Palace is unlikely to lose its star player for little money in the winter transfer window, as evidenced by the fact that they are not actively seeking to sell him.

Furthermore, if Chelsea doesn’t pay Guehi what he asks, he might not want to return. He regularly plays for the England national team, and he has had excellent performances for Palace during the past 24 months.

Losing him in the middle would have been a huge setback for Palace, but they may eventually have to sell him because they probably won’t be able to keep him for long.

After losing Wesley Fofana, Chelsea wants reinforcements.
