As a major Marcus Rashford decision was made, Manchester United confirmed their roster for the match against Newcastle.

Braun Amorim is expected to make at least two changes to his starting lineup from the team that lost to Wolves last time out, as Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte are both suspended for Monday night’s match. Marcus Rashford has been added to Manchester United’s squad for their Premier League matchup against Newcastle United.

With striker Rashford expected to be benched against Eddie Howe’s team at the very least, Ruben Amorim is left without many senior options due to the double suspension blow. Since being left out of the Manchester derby victory over Man City, Rashford has missed the last four matchday squads.

Rashford’s future at Old Trafford is still in Amorim’s sights, and he has reaffirmed that his recent absences were due to “selection” considerations rather than sanctions. The forward declared he was “ready for a new challenge” after 20 years with the team, two days after missing the derby victory over Man City.

In addition, Toby Collyer maintains his spot in the matchday squad due to United’s injury shortage, while Godwill Kukonki has also been seen getting to Old Trafford before the game.

Manchester United confirmed squad members: Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Godwill Kukonki, Toby Collyer, Christian Eriksen, Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Amad, Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee.
