Chelsea is prepared to spend £50 million to acquire a Frenchman from a European powerhouse.

Youssouf Fofana, a French midfielder for AC Milan, is supposedly a target for Chelsea.

Since joining Milan last summer for an estimated €20 million, Fofana has been a vital member of the team. The Blues have taken notice of his performances. Fichajes claims that Chelsea has their sights set on the French midfield player and is prepared to spend €60 million (£50 million) to complete the deal.

If Chelsea makes a formal offer, it wouldn’t be shocking if Milan is willing to let the player go. They would be able to replace him with the available funds and obtain a threefold return on their investment in the Frenchman.

Fofana will provide physicality, drive, and defensive cover.

At times, the 25-year-old Milan midfielder might be the ideal substitute for Caicedo. In addition to being a right-sided midfielder, he can also play center midfield.

Fofana might be useful to Chelsea since he possesses the physicality and technical skills necessary to succeed in the Premier League. Prior to moving to Italy, he was linked to Manchester United, but Milan’s management was able to win the battle for his services.
