Friedkin told to sign new Everton No 10 due to Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Everton must elevate their ambitions and no longer be the “nearly-dead men” they have been in recent years, according to Ian Darke.
The view of the TV commentator comes as the Premier League have approved the Toffees’ takeover from The Friedkin Group, which is now expected to be completed within the next week.

Darke, speaking exclusively to Goodison News, is adamant that Everton as a “proper football club” need serious investment to return to where he feels they should be competing.
“Friedkin definitely needs to invest. There are areas of the squad at Everton that need a lot of improvement. For example, they’ve got Calvert-Lewin, they’ve got Beto… but they need more in attack and they need a number 10, catalyst type of player,” he said.
