Arsenal vs Everton: Line-up’s, Formation and Possible predictions

After another exciting midweek of European action, the Premier League returns on Saturday with five fixtures.

Arsenal and Liverpool are among the teams featuring in the four games kicking off at 3pm, before a Midlands derby between Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa rounds things off at 5.30pm.

Arsenal vs Everton (Saturday, 3pm)

Arsenal have kept four clean sheets in their last five games and can hold firm against visitors Everton.

The Gunners drew 1-1 at Fulham last Sunday before beating Monaco 3-0 in the week and have an excellent chance of maintaining their excellent defensive record, having kept four clean sheets in their last five games at home.

Everton beat relegation rivals Wolves 4-0 in their last match but the postponement of the Merseyside derby means they have not played since December 4.

Goals have been in short supply for Sean Dyche’s men, failing to net in four games prior to their win over Wolves and their recent run may lead to a tight clash.

Newcastle vs Leicester (Saturday, 3pm)

Newcastle have failed to win any of their last four games but have shown flashes of excellence, including drawing 3-3 at home with league leaders Liverpool.

They next face Leicester who have made a positive start under new coach Ruud van Nistelrooy but have won on only one of their seven away trips this season.

The Foxes have netted five goals in their two games with Van Nistelrooy in charge, while Newcastle have conceded in five of their seven St James’ Park outings.

An open game looks likely but Eddie Howe’s side should have too much.
