£35m Chelsea failure rejected tickets to witness the Blues play Manchester City; he believes the club is a circus.

Chelsea’s comeback to Premier League winning ways was short-lived, as they were trounced by Manchester City over the weekend.

The Blues took a 1-0 lead after three minutes, but were unable to profit on an opponent who was there for the taking in the early stages.

Danny Drinkwater, a former Chelsea player, was seated in the home end despite having no links to Manchester City. Some supporters were perplexed as to why this was the case. Despite his poor performance at Stamford Bridge, it was assumed that his relationship with the club had not deteriorated to the point where he would be supporting the opposing team.

Danny Drinkwater’s horrible time at Chelsea.
Despite a significant £35 million deal from Leicester City, Drinkwater’s time at Chelsea has been mainly seen as disappointing.

He arrived at Stamford Bridge a year after former teammate N’golo Kante left the King Power, but he had nothing on the Frenchman.

Drinkwater claimed after leaving the club that he was sometimes denied the opportunity to train, which has been a common experience for a number of players who have not been included in the current Chelsea squad.

Trevoh Chalobah was banished from the first team setup at the start of this season as they looked to sell him, however have had to eat humble pie and include him .
