Celtic FC have rejected a staggering £100m bid from an unnamed English Premier League club for their star midfielder Kyogo Furuhashi, sources close to the club have confirmed.
The Hoops are determined to hold on to their key player, who has been instrumental in their success in recent years. Furuhashi has been a driving force behind Celtic’s dominance in the Scottish Premiership, and the club is unwilling to let him go.
“Kyogo is a vital part of our team, and we have no intention of selling him,” said a Celtic FC spokesperson. “We’re confident that he will continue to play a key role in our success for years to come.”
The £100m bid is believed to have come from a top-six English Premier League club, but Celtic FC’s valuation of Furuhashi is significantly higher. The club is reportedly holding out for a bid of at least £150m, and is confident that Furuhashi’s value will only continue to increase in the coming years.
Furuhashi, who has been with Celtic FC since 2021, has consistently been one of the top performers in the Scottish Premiership. He has won numerous honors with the club, including the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish Cup.
The news is a major blow to the unnamed English Premier League club, which had been hoping to lure Furuhashi away from Celtic FC. However, it’s a major boost for Celtic FC fans, who can look forward to seeing their star midfielder continue to play for the club.
